Our Story
When our youngest child left for college, a quieter home made room for a dream we’d carried for decades: a life rooted in faith, family, and nature.
We traded our neighborhood for twenty acres in the Georgia countryside. With no barns, fences, or farming experience, we started from scratch planting gardens, building fences, and welcoming the animals that would become part of our family.
Farm life has brought plenty of lessons, a few heartbreaks, and more joy than we could have imagined. Somewhere between morning chores and evenings on the porch, our empty nest became a very full heart.
Today, Empty Nest Farmhouse is a place to share that joy. Meet the animals, join a hands-on learning experience, or simply enjoy time together at a slower pace.
